As our client base and business is growing, so is the Stisi Group team – and we’re delighted to welcome our new team member, Sarah Proctor, as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser.
Sarah’s role with Stisi Group
Sarah will be based in our Musselburgh office alongside Ross, Emma and Craig. She’ll be providing expert mortgage and protection advice to our full range of clients, from first time buyers applying through the First Home Fund or help to buy schemes, to families looking to upsize and landlords adding to their portfolio.
We believe in supporting our team in their professional development, so after a month with us in the office to get her feet firmly under the table, Sarah will spend the following three months training with the Mortgage Advice Bureau, of which Stisi Group is a representative.
Meet Sarah!
What better way to find out about Team Stisi’s newbie than by hearing from Sarah herself? We thought of our nosiest questions, and sat Sarah down to ask:
Stisi Group: What made you want to apply to work with Stisi Group?
Sarah Proctor: I was referred by a recruiter who thought I would be a good fit for the company. After meeting both Ross and Emma, I can confirm Gary was not wrong in his judgement!
SG: What does Client Obsession mean to you?
SP: Offering a second to none service and keeping the main focus on your clients and their experience – because without them, you could not sustain a business.
SG: Would you vote for Ross, our #BeardedBroker, to decorate his beard with beard baubles next (and every) Christmas?
SP: 100% (Sorry, Ross!)
SG: The current favourite office treats are Maltesers and chocolate thins. Which do you prefer? Or will you introduce a new treat?
SP: I love crisps and cheese. I’m not a chocolate person, which means more for everyone else in the office!
SG: If you could swap places with anyone for a day, who would it be, and why?
SP: Wim Hof. If you haven’t heard of him (I’m guessing that most people haven’t) then take a look. He makes the impossible possible! He did part of Everest and the whole of Mount Kilimanjaro in just shorts and trainers.
SG: Do you prefer films or books? What are your favourites?
SP: Mainly books. I love all of Nicholas Sparks’ books, and Eat, Pray, Love. My favourite films are Law Abiding Citizen and Lone Survivor.
SG: Here’s the rapid-fire round – Snow or sun? Sweet or savoury? Marmite – yay or nay?
SP: Snow, savoury and nay!
SG: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
SP: Be yourself!
SG: And finally… Tell us something surprising about yourself?
SP: When I turned 21 I decided to have a year of doing everything that I said I was going to, regardless of obstacles.
I did the UK’s highest skydive, completed the Three Peaks, did Europe’s fastest zipline, travelled to India by myself (after reading Eat, Pray Love) – and I moved to Scotland!
SG: Wow! That’s some year! Thanks, Sarah.
