Craig’s role with Stisi Group
Craig will be based in our Musselburgh office alongside Ross, Emma and Claire. He’ll be providing expert mortgage and protection advice to our full range of clients, from first time buyers applying through help to buy, to families looking to expand their home, to landlords adding to their portfolio.
We believe in supporting our team in their professional development, so after a month with us in the office to get his feet firmly under the table, Craig will spend the following three months training with the Mortgage Advice Bureau, of which Stisi Group is a representative.
Meet our new team member, Craig!
What better way to find out about our newbie than by hearing from the man himself? We thought of our nosiest questions, and sat Craig down to ask:
Stisi Group: What attracted you to working for Stisi Group?
Craig Spalding: I had been travelling the world the last few years and wanted to get back into my career in mortgages. After looking online and seeing that Stisi Group were looking I immediately applied. The website sold me, with up to date clear information and very positive reviews.
SG: We have a unique Client Obsession programme, ensuring our clients can relax, knowing we’re doing the hard work. What does Client Obsession mean to you?
CS: In a nutshell, getting the best possible outcome for the customer by ensuring we do everything we can.
SG: Ross is setting the bar high at Stisi Group – how long do you think it’ll take you to grow the beard?
CS: The beard of mortgage knowledge? Already starting!
SG: If you could swap places with anyone for a day, who would it be, and why?
I would have to say Thor… because he can fly. Although, now that I think about it, perhaps I’ll change my answer to say Ross Stisi, because he has the beard of mortgage knowledge…
SG: Top three films?
CS: Django Unchained, Hacksaw Ridge and Shooter. I am partial to a Jason Statham movie too.
SG: Football or rugby? Beer or wine? Snow holiday or sun holiday?
CS: Football with a beer in the sun (although I do love the snow).
SG: Tell us something surprising about yourself?
CS: I lived in Australia for two years and swam with great white sharks.
